How Connected Biking works:

Use the eBike Flow App to control all functions of the smart system, connecting the drive unit, battery, display and control unit. It allows you to customise the eBike exactly to your preferences, enhance it an keep it up to date: You can simply download new features and services, connecting updates for your eBike via Bluetooth. This keeps your eBike up to date and continuously upgraded with new features. This is how you can take your riding enjoyment to even higher levels.

Connected biking with Kiox

The sporty display connects the eBiker to the networked eBike world of Bosch. The eBike Connect app allows riders to connect Kiox via Bluetooth Low Energy with the smartphone, for example, in order to evaluate their own activities – for a very personal and interactive Connected Biking experience. eBikers will have all relevant information in view on a tablet or PC in the ebike-connect.com online portal.

Back home, riders can view the route travelled and evaluate performance data such as altitude, speed, cadence and heart rate profile. Riders who have a Strava account can upload their data there with a single click.

Automatic synchronisation 

All information at your fingertips at all times: Data is automatically synchronised by Bluetooth between Kiox and the app. Even software updates can be loaded comfortably and wirelessly on the on-board computer.

The COBI.Bike smartphone app provides the eBiker with a modern, fully integrated control centre – with real-time fitness data, ride planning and recording options, voice output and the option of connecting to other services and apps.

  • Connectivity: The SmartphoneHub and the COBI.Bike smartphone app connect the eBike to the digital world – from navigation, music, fitness tracking, or phoning to the integration of other services and apps such as Strava or komoot if they wish.

  • Navigation: The COBI.Bike smartphone app points the way – with optional 2D or 3D map view. The navigation instructions are also issued by voice output. 

  • Fitness data: The COBI.Bike smartphone app gives eBikers a permanent overview of the most important training data, such as performance, cadence and calorie consumption; this information can also be played back at the press of a button. It is also possible to connect a heart rate monitor. 

  • Entertainment: The easy way to listen to your favourite music or the latest thriller: the COBI.Bike smartphone app allows eBikers access to music and audio book streaming services, such as Spotify or Audible.

  • A digital guardian angel: The COBI.Bike smartphone app enables eBikers to connect quickly and easily to the Bosch Emergency Assistant and even transmit their current location in an emergency.
